My Project


 I wanted to share with you a Mini Album I made for a SU Convention Swap....(yes, my name is Kim and I AM a Swapaholic!)

 
 This is a super easy folded Mini Album, which uses a single sheet of 12" X 12" Very Vanilla.  




I decorated it with Pool Party Blue, Smokey Slate, Calypso Coral, and Silver Glimmer Paper. 

And here is the Big Shot part, I used the Oval Accent Bigz Clear Die, and the NEW Flower Frenzy Bigz L Die, for the beautiful flowers and leaves that decorate the front.

Now all I have to do is add some photo's and voila....a fabulous mini album.

Weekly Deals and two very special women!

Good morning everyone!!  At least it is still morning here in Las Vegas.... I'm here for a conference on Disability Management.

I just listened to an inspiring speech by Paralympics bronze medallist and Dancing with The Stars runner up Amy Purdy!

She is such a lovely young woman!

My favorite Convention Swap! AND an OOOPS!

Every year, Stampin' Up! holds a Convention in Salt Lake City in July. We gather at the Salt Palace Convention Centre, listen to speakers, meet other demonstrators from across the globe, recognize and reward sales and other milestones for Demonstrators, and of course STAMP!

One of my favorite activities at Convention is to participate in Swaps....I'm kind of addicted to it!
I created this swap for an event called Swap in Your Jammies...and we do just that, LOL yep, in our Jammies.   For this swap, the requirement was to make 52 of the same card, and I came home with 50 different cards, the extra two being for the organizers of the Swap.

I think this is one of the prettiest cards I have ever made, and I am quite proud of it. I love this color combo. 

You can see that the Big Shot played a BIG role in this card....first of all I used an Oval Framelit to cut the Pool Party Blue layer...and then I ran this layer through the Big Shot again with the Beautifully Baroque Embossing Folder, to give it some lovely texture.

I also used two sizes of the Deco Labels Collection, which you can get for free if you buy a Big Shot...you would also receive the stamp set Oh My Goodies.  The larger shape is  Crisp Cantaloupe, and the smaller is Whisper White.

The stamp set is the Hostess Set Bloom with Hope, which you could earn for free with an order of $200!

I finished it off with Pearls in two different sizes...
